ACCA Practice Accountant

Eden Scott's client is a well known small accountancy practice firm based in Edinburgh.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an ambitious qualified accountant with a desire to progress their career in the accountancy profession. In this role you will manage and report numbers for a specific client port-folio including all aspects of accountancy and taxation reporting.

This post reports into the practice manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reviewing annual accounts for a variety of clients
Managing resources to ensure that deadlines are met
Supervising and developing staff
Taking an active part in building effective client relationships
Involvement in tax planning and calculations
Responding to tax enquiries

Qualifications & Experience

CA or ACCA qualified with significant practice experience
Experience of supervision or managing staff
Technical financial reporting and taxation skills
Commercial awareness
Ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
Excellent communication skills
Track record of working under pressure to meet deadlines
