The Company has an amazing opportunity for a Full Time Hotel Receptionist to join their family owned country house hotel. Set in a beautiful location close to local attractions and events on the South Coast in Hampshire. This is a permanent position.

Key Features of the Role:
The right candidate will have a hotel reception background, as well as administration and customer service skills, as these will be integral to the role and the day to day duties.
The hotel wants you to have a good level of IT skills from previous reception work, so you are able to work with computerised booking and payment systems.
Being a professional and high quality hotel you will also be required to display excellent written and spoken communication skills. You must have experience of interacting with customers and the public. Always offering the best possible level of customer service.
Another key feature of the role is a friendly and professional telephone manner. Being professional at all times with language, tone and portraying a positive and robust attitude, patience and tact. Someone who wants to go that extra mile helping a customer.
Finally, the hotel requires you to be hands, on with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Having experienced looking after several things at once, while displaying a smart, calm and professional appearance at all times.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will ideally be an accomplished Hotel Receptionist with a good telephone manner and professional customer services approach, or from a similar reception background.
You will possess a good level of computer skills and knowledge from a similar reception background.
You will be someone who is tactful, patient, clear and has concise communication skills.
Complaint, Customer Services experience from a similar reception background is a must.
Smart presentation and appearance in a face to face environment, coming from a similar reception background.

A basic salary up to £20,000 depending on experience.
Company uniform and meals provided.
Promotion prospects and increase in basic salary is available. Or a sideways career step into one of the other departments within the hotel. Or within one of the other 14 venues within the group chain.
Shift work involving 3pm to 11pm and 7am to 3pm, including weekends, 5 days working over a 7 day period.
