Level of Education (Maximum 150 points):
Points are awarded depending on the highest level of education you have achieved.
Official Languages Proficiency (Maximum 160 points):
Points are given for your abilities in English and/or French in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Canadian Work Experience (Maximum 80 points):
Points are awarded for the number of years you have spent working in Canada.
Spouse or Common-law Partner Factors (if applicable):
Level of Education (Maximum 10 points):
Points for the education level of your spouse or common-law partner.
Official Languages Proficiency (Maximum 20 points):
Points for your spouse or common-law partner's language abilities in English and/or French.
Canadian Work Experience (Maximum 10 points):
Points for the number of years your spouse or common-law partner has spent working in Canada.
Skill Transferability Factors (Maximum 100 points):
Education:
Points for your education, if you have a strong language proficiency or a Canadian degree, diploma, or certificate.
Foreign Work Experience:
Points for foreign work experience, especially if you have strong language proficiency or Canadian work experience.
Certificate of Qualification:
Points for trade certification, especially if you have strong language proficiency or a Canadian work experience.
