Banking Compliance Change Analyst
A Banking Compliance Change Analyst is required by a global Investment Bank to manage or support a broad range of change initiatives across Regulation, Compliance and Anti Financial Crime (AFC), delivering regulatory adherence and strategic change, enhanced operational efficiencies and cross-functional integration.
The key responsibilities of the role are
Providing significant project management support including elements of business analysis activities for the new regulatory adherence process into Regulation, Compliance and AFC globally
Working with senior stakeholders within that function and across others to ensure the Bank is prepared and compliant with new local upcoming regulatory requirements. This will require engagement with relevant stakeholders across a number of locations, and robust tracking and oversight to ensure timely delivery of all change initiatives
Ensuring project management delivery and some business analysis activity for other Regulation, Compliance and AFC initiatives as required
Identifying key deliverables and milestones required to implement different initiatives, and develop corresponding scope documents and project plans to support such deliveries
Providing robust tracking to ensure the status of all projects within the change portfolio is transparent at all times, including ensuring that any delays are highlighted and addressed with relevant project leads / sponsors
Preparing reports up to board level, on all key initiatives. This will require working with all project leads and project sponsors to ensure all reporting is accurate, timely and consistent
Escalating issues and risks within projects as required to the appropriate project teams, business or counterparts
Maintaining up to date awareness of relevant regulatory environment changes & their impact on various business / infrastructure activities
You will have proven experience of working on major projects, ideally within the Regulation, Compliance and AFC space and have generalist regulatory experience, preferably from within the financial services industry. You will have experience of business analysis and have the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and strong working knowledge of the MS Office suite are essential.
