Technical Project Manager

he Senior Project Manager will be responsible for migrating to Office 365 & rolling out a new MPLS Network to users across a number of locations. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of delivery, including governance, daily reporting, and the management of a team that includes both 3rd party supplier resources, contract staff, and internal resources. Managing all aspects of the project including task allocation, scope, delivery, budget, quality, commercial performance, and resource utilisation.

Planning, management, and delivery of key project work streams: business change, migration, IT Readiness, and governance & policies; Management of a 3rd party Microsoft-partner supplier, related commercials, and supplier resources for delivery; Matrix management of internal staff across the UK, including scheduling, IT readiness. Service introduction management (handover to live service).

Creating standard project management documentation for the project, maintaining the overall RAID Log, and using change control procedures as appropriate. Extensive project management experience which must include responsibilities for project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, executive communication / relations, risk / issue identification and mitigation, and budget management.

At least one experience of planning and managing a major system deployment project, including Office 365. Experience of managing and influencing senior stakeholders, under challenging circumstances, achieving high levels of stakeholder satisfaction through setting and meeting / exceeding realistic targets. Experience in overcoming resistance to change, managing issues and risks and managing multiple stakeholders. Prince 2 accreditation is essential.
